MY FINAL OFFICE MOOD BOARDS
Hi friends! I know it’s been a while. Since I’ve been away, a few life changing events occurred. I turned 27 years old, I got a new job, I’m now a manager, and I traveled to Europe with my friends. It has been quite exhilarating and life was just moving way too fast, but I’m ready to share my current designs!
I’m finally taking the steps to do my office. I want to budget accordingly and make sure I’m not spending a crazy amount. Last year, I wanted to put a feminine wall paper as my accent wall in my office. However, I am now not totally in love with it anymore and have officially changed my mind… This is how I am. I get sick of things SO quickly that I try to find pieces that I know I can never out grow. Instead I now want to lime wash my accent wall! Lime washing doesn’t cost that much money (more time than money really), and I’ll be painting the other walls with the remaining white paint I have from my bedroom.
I still want to incorporate some feminine girl power touch into my office design, but will do so in different ways. Which do you prefer?

I definitely have a favorite in mind..

I’m 100% sold on this desk because I’ve been eyeing it for the past eight months and finally did the deed and bought it.. haha! Work has able to help pay for this desk since I’m mostly wfh, so that helped with my budget. I originally wanted the Gwyneth Ivory Boucle Chair for my office, but decided against it because 1. I was going to get 2 for clients to sit it, but…. clients never come to my house as I do everything virtually so I figured that would be a waste and 2. I really enjoy laying down. Therefore I measured the Orleans Upholstered Bench and it fits perfectly! It’s also boucle which looks so similar to the Gwyneth Chair. The last thing I’m 100% sold on are the acrylic wall shelf because I want to have a space where I can display all my color, fabric, and wood samples that I have just laying around in my office. The only thing I can’t settle on is the rug and the side table.
As I always say, it’s not a race! Decorating and investing in your furniture takes time. As we may want to get settled in FAST it’s not worth you money spending it on something you don’t love! Let me know what you think!
